MultiBrowser Appliance - Update-Site

This site contains updates for the MultiBrowser Appliance.

Current available updates

[05-11-2006] UpdateInstaller - Provides an easier method for updating the MultiBrowser Appliance (see second method for updating the appliance).
[05-11-2006] SuspendUpdate - Fixes a bug, so the appliance can be suspended correctly under VMware Player.

There are two ways to update your MultiBrowser Appliance:

Method 1 - If you never updated your MultiBrowser Appliance before:
1. Start the MultiBrowser Appliance and click on the K-Menu. Select the submenu System and click on the entry Konsole (Terminal Program).
2. After Konsole has started, enter the command su and press ENTER.
3. Now a password prompt should appear. Enter appliance as the password and press ENTER.
4. Enter the following command and press the ENTER key to install all available updates for the MultiBrowser Appliance:
  
  lynx -source http://mba-update.colinfinck.de | sh
Method 2 - If you already updated it:

Start the MultiBrowser Appliance and click on the K-Menu. Select the submenu System and click on the entry Konsole (Terminal Program).
Enter the command mba-update and press ENTER to install all available updates for the MultiBrowser Appliance.
